Some Important Advice
The rigors of the ballet exercises require that the cartilage of the feet have hardened into bone and that most of growth has taken place.
The earlier years of ballet training gently, but with regular guidance and practice under the watchful eye of an experienced teacher, lead the student to readiness for the advanced level.
Students who have begun ballet instruction at age 8, and progressed successfully through beginning and intermediate course, could be ready at 13 to begin advanced combinations. Before that age it is better to follow introductionnary courses and exercise.
